Waarom de bewering blijft bestaan
Cafeïne verhoogt het energieverbruik wel degelijk acuut. De omvang komt nooit in de buurt van wat de verpakking suggereert.

Hoe wordt een oordeel bepaald?
Drie categorieën, geen twee. "Grotendeels onjuist" betekent dat de bewering zoals geformuleerd niet wordt onderbouwd; "deels waar" betekent dat er een reëel effect bestaat, maar kleiner of beperkter dan beweerd; "grotendeels waar" betekent dat het bewijs de bewering ondersteunt zoals ze meestal wordt geformuleerd.
