Proč se tvrzení stále udržuje
Lidé v průběhu třicátých let skutečně přibírají na váze. Příčina je behaviorální a souvisí se složením těla — méně pohybu, méně svalů — nikoli metabolismus, který se zpomalí v den narozenin.

Jak se určuje verdikt?
Tři stupně, ne dva. „Převážně nepravda“ znamená, že tvrzení v uvedené podobě není podložené; „částečně pravda“ znamená, že reálný efekt existuje, ale je menší nebo užší, než se tvrdí; „převážně pravda“ znamená, že důkazy podporují tvrzení v jeho obvyklé podobě.
